Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell, born on March 27, 1970 in New York City. In 1991, she graduated in 1991 from Stephens College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting and continuing her studies at the British American Drama Academy.Mitchell worked for six years at the Dallas Theater Center and a one-year stint at the Encore Theater.
